Purple Kiss Blew Away the Audience at Their Sold-Out Show in Arizona!

Plorys — Purple Kiss’ fandom — began lining up hours before doors opened at the Herberger Theatre Center in Phoenix, Arizona, as they waited for the Korean idol girl group Purple Kiss to light up the stage. Purple Kiss’ first USA tour, The Festa Tour in USA, was soon coming to a close. Fans anxiously anticipated the arrival of the six-member girl group consisting of YUKI, GOEN, SWAN, CHAEIN, DOSIE, and IREH, while singing along to the music backtrack and chatting amongst each other.

Suddenly, the venue erupted in a frenzy of screams as fans caught glimpses of the group standing on the side stage. The lights dimmed dramatically, and the girls gracefully walked out into their positions. The cheers grew louder until the lights turned on, and “Intro: Bye Bye Bully” filled the room; lightsticks immediately luminated the venue with various colors.

Throughout the set, Purple Kiss, being the absolute all-rounders they are, effortlessly switched between playful and powerful auras, which Plorys thoroughly enjoyed since their duality is forever unmatched. Between one of their performances, SWAN, DOSIE, and CHAEIN expressed their surprise at International Plorys' manners as they conversed with the crowd. They explained that during a travel day for one of their shows, they had seen a fan wearing a Purple Kiss T-shirt and expected a big reaction. But, they were met with surprise when the fan walked up, bowed at them, and walked away. At the time, the girls spoke amongst themselves, saying, “Please look back!,” and “Just one look!,” hoping the fan would turn around.

Creating an energetic atmosphere, the girl group held a dance battle and shared personal stories about swimming, eating delicious food, and looking back on their trainee days. One of the most memorable moments from the night was when the girls were getting ready off-stage for the final encore. A fan screamed, “Sing ‘Biscuit!’” a song on Purple Kiss’ album, FESTA, that talks about living freely and authentically, disregarding others' opinions. To the fan’s request, Purple Kiss happily sang a snippet.

As the night came to an end, Purple Kiss expressed their gratitude and thankfulness to Plorys for selling out the show and for being there with them. When it was time to close out the set, which earned multiple “no’s!” from the crowd, Purple Kiss finally performed “My Heart Skip a Beat.”

After their performance, Purple Kiss waved their goodbyes and bowed, with some members completing hearts from fans. Everyone’s happiness was palpable — some were in tears, not believing the memories they had just made, while others were smiling.

But every K-Pop fan knows the show is never over until the surprise encore; as the members left the stage, the crowd began chanting. Purple Kiss returned to the stage clad in bucket hats, cat ears, and even a crown! The audience was treated to not only one but two performances of “Skip Skip” and “Twinkle,” igniting the night’s energy once more.

The crowd cheered continuously through the night, expressing their support and love for Purple Kiss. The crowd’s singing grew louder and louder as each performance was completed. The reality of the night’s end slowly set in. When Purple Kiss took their last bow, thanking Plorys one last time, they cherished every second on the stage, basking in the final moments with their beloved fans. And just like that, the lights began to shine brightly, and the sound of fans leaving their seats echoed off the walls. They experienced a truly unforgettable night.
