Interview: E’LAST Unveils a New Identity with ‘[iDENTIFICATION]’ and Gears Up for a Latin America Tour
In the ever-evolving world of K-Pop, E’LAST continues to carve their unique path, and their latest release, the 4th mini album [iDENTIFICATION], is a testament to their commitment to growth and exploration. HALSUG had the opportunity to interview the members, and they shared insights into the making of the album, memorable moments from the "Kiss me baby" music video shoot, and their excitement for the upcoming Latin America tour!
[iDENTIFICATION], the group's latest musical offering, delves into the concept of 'identity.' YEJUN, one of the members, expressed, "This album holds the meaning of ‘ID’ which is used to prove yourself, like the ID, this album shows what we are going to achieve and the endless effort we will work to make that goal to become a better E’LAST."
The music video for the album's title track, "Kiss me baby," offers a glimpse into the more casual side of E'LAST. RANO shared a behind-the-scenes moment, "There was a scene we filmed while eating pizza and popcorn. We laughed with our director and staff, ate the food, and had a casual conversation—it was the most memorable for me."

When asked about the song on [iDENTIFICATION] that best represents their personality, YEJUN pointed to "Rain" and "Together," stating, "Members participated in both songs and since the song portrays our honest stories, it represents us and the album well."
Describing E’LAST in one word, BAEKGYEUL coined the term 'Live performance-dol,' encapsulating the group's prowess on the stage. Outside of their idol personas, ROMIN shared his hobbies, "I usually like lying in bed watching movies, dramas, and YouTube or playing games and going to exhibitions."
In a lighthearted moment, ROMIN also revealed which member's role he'd like to switch with for a day, saying, "Rano, the main dancer position because I’m pretty confident in dance as much as he is [laughs]." In addition, highlighting their diverse talents, WONJUN showcased his swimming skills as a hidden talent.

As E’LAST gears up for an extensive tour in Latin America, YEJUN expressed anticipation, "Having a diverse set list of songs and new songs to show is what I’m looking for."
Finally, the members had heartfelt messages for their devoted fanbase, ELRING. WONHYUK conveyed gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for always giving us unconditional, overwhelming love. As much as you’ve become my everything to me and E’LAST, we will try our best every day to be more approachable and come back with wonderful music. Let’s stay together for a long time!"
