Having debuted under FNC Entertainment in 2020, the group, consisting of members KEEHO, THEO, JIUNG, INTAK, SOUL, and JONGSEOB, has thus far made a name for themselves for their vibrant, infectious energy in both their music and performances. Before the release of their full-length album, P1Harmony's discography included three mini-albums under the DISHARMONY series, three mini-albums under the HARMONY series, as well as their most recent collaboration with award-winning producer C. “Tricky” Stewart with “Fall In Love Again.” After successfully concluding their P1USTAGE H : P1ONEER Tour in January of this year, the group is set to make yet another international appearance at The Governors Ball Music Festival on June 8 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City.

With the release of Killin’ It, the group bids farewell to the “harmonious world” of their previous series, as they enter a new realm, revealing themselves to have been the hidden heroes all along in the real world. Each of the tracks on the album has a lot to offer to the listeners. Let’s take a look at each track individually.

1. Killin’ It

Starting off strong with their title track “Killin’ It,” the song combines elements of both 90’s hip-hop and K-Pop with thumping 808s in the background. With lyrical contributions from JONGSEOB, the song stays true to P1Harmony's signature sound as they sing about showcasing their own colors to the world and being confident enough in themselves to do so. The perfectly-crafted rap verse in this particular song is definitely something you don't want to miss out on!

 2. Late Night Calls

Slowing down the tempo a bit, “Late Night Calls” is an easy-listening R&B-pop track that dives into themes of love in today's day and age, which is, of course, through phones. The song starts off with a soft, bossa-nova-style chord progression and builds up into a groovy, upbeat chorus that seamlessly highlights vocals from the members.

3. Everybody Clap

Everybody Clap” is that track you would want playing in the background as you walk into a movie scene where you (the hero) try to save the day — quite fitting for the group's entire concept for this comeback. The build-up in the drums during the pre-chorus brings an anthemic feel to the song, along with the freestyle chanting: "If you’re happy and you know it, feel it right now, show it (clap).”

4. Love Story

This is yet another song we would add to a movie soundtrack, except this time, it's a coming-of-age film set in the spring. “Love Story” feels cinematic in every way as it is a love confession that explores feelings of being hopelessly in love with another to the point where their entire day revolves around them. The soft guitar in the background sets the stage for the vocals to shine particularly well.

5. Countdown To Love

Countdown To Love” is a cohesive fusion between cyberpunk and pop-rock that is quite reminiscent of Japanese rock in certain parts of the song. The song exudes electrifying energy and would be the perfect addition to a party playlist. “My head is throbbing, love is the antidote / The future I've dreamed of, gotta let 'em know.” The verse that KEEHO sings sums up the message of forgetting all the worries and pain as they celebrate and countdown to a new start.

6. Emergency

Emergency” is a song about tension and romance that seemingly takes influences from grunge rock. “Look At Me Now” from their 2022 EP HARMONY : SET IN and this song definitely sit at the same table when it comes to their amplifying riffs in the verses.

7. 2Nite

Coming in as the ideal soundtrack for a Friday night car drive with your friends, “2Nite” is a dance club track deemed a new style and sound for the group, filled with synths and a groovy bassline.

8. Let Me Love You

The bass-heavy chorus of “Let Me Love You” is undeniably an earworm for its 90’s boy band-style instrumentals and harmonization. With writing contributions from INTAK, JONGSEOB, and JIUNG, the song talks about wanting to be there for a significant other at times of need, essentially being their hero or knight-in-shining-armor.

9. Street Star

Street Star” is an exciting and energetic addition to this particular body of work and is as colorful as the concept photos for the album. Similar to their title track “Killin’ It,” the lyrics in this song too echo the sentiment of self-confidence and self-expression.

10. I See U

Ending off the album on a sweeter note, “I See U” is an R&B track dedicated to their fans P1eces, penned by members KEEHO, JONGSEOB, INTAK, and JIUNG. The lyrics convey a heartfelt message about gratitude towards a loved one and them being the center of their vision.
