“Reach For” ONEUS in Orlando
January 18th was a fun night for TOMOON, ONEUS’ fans, living in Orlando as K-Pop group ONEUS returned to the city on their Reach For Us world tour. Just last February, the group had their first show here and this year managed to upgrade to a larger venue. Showing evidence of the group’s continuous success, the venue was packed with fans who had been lined up since early morning. ONEUS consists of 5 members: Xion, Leedo, Hwanwoong, Seoho, Leedo, and Keonhee. Each are equally as talented.

What makes ONEUS special is not just their ability to dance and sing but their ability to perform. Through storytelling in their choreography, displaying intro videos that bring the audience into their world before appearing on stage, showing amazing visuals on a screen behind them, and a mid-show documentary of the tour proves how dedicated ONEUS is to putting on an outstanding show! Everything about the night was satisfying.

The 27-song set list consisted of tracks from their previous EPs and their album released in 2021. Starting off the night with their single “Bring it on” and ending it with “What You Doing.” Fans got to experience the group performing their own songs and covers. A specific cover drove the crowd crazy, and it was their choreography to “Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake. The group covered the song only a couple of weeks ago on a music show. Essentially, fans knew what treat they were getting as soon as the song started playing. “Pink Venom” by Black Pink was also a part of their set.

Throughout the night, not once did the crowd lose its enthusiasm. Squeals, cheering, dancing, and singing along were seen and heard all night. ONEUS in Orlando was a great way to bring in the new year for many fans who had yet to see a show. HALSUG is grateful to have had the opportunity to capture photos of the magic that took place.
