ONE PACT Returns With Long-Awaited Release, ‘PARADOXX’
South Korean boy group ONE PACT is back with their eagerly awaited first single, PARADOXX. This release marks their first since their debut mini-album, Moment, which launched in November 2023. Comprising of former Boys Planet contestants JONGWOO, SEONGMIN, TAG, YEDAM, and JAY CHANG, ONE PACT aims to captivate listeners with authentic stories and powerful messages through their new music.
Managed by ARMADA Entertainment, the group is guided by CEO Kangnam, a Japanese-Korean singer and former member of the disbanded group M.I.B.
Reflecting the group's ambition to make a significant mark with their music, the name ONE PACT combines "one" and "impact." Before their official debut, ONE PACT successfully held their first fan concert, THE PACT, in Japan on November 17, 2023. The event attracted a large audience, bolstering optimism for the group's promising future.

The group is excited to be back after what SEONGMIN describes as a long hiatus necessary for improvement. He expressed, “Preparing for this comeback required much thought and effort to deliver a more impactful return. We aim to present an upgraded version of ONE PACT, as if offering a gift to our fans who have eagerly awaited our return.”
Featuring three tracks, each member was involved in the production of PARADOXX. TAG, in particular, contributed to the lyric writing and composition for the album, making it especially meaningful for him. He noted, “I had the honor of producing all the songs on this album, and it represents our willingness to embrace various challenges. We hope that the messages within the album resonate well, as we put a lot of effort into it. We are eager for the promotions and to see how we can further improve. Please shower us with your love and support!”
Pre-released on May 31, the first song “마침표 (PERIOD)” comes with a music video directed with input from JONGWOO. The video, shot in a hand-held camera style, seamlessly complements the track’s tempo and gives it a personal touch.
The title track, “꺼져 (FXX OFF),” delivers an empowering message to their fans. Standing true to its name, the boys have once again left no stone unturned, impressing with powerful moves and a strong visual concept. The song has garnered 3.5 million views in just ten days on YouTube.
Finally, “DEJAVU” explores the theme of how uncertainties can lead to growing pain over time.
