“Hit Me With Your Love” follows the monumental success of Anna’s 2023 debut single, “Someone Else,” which charted at #47 on the Top 50 Pop Radio Charts and has nearly half a million views on YouTube. The release sparked a viral sensation on TikTok, capturing the attention of audiences worldwide. Against the backdrop of J-Pop’s expanding popularity, her emergence signifies a thrilling milestone in music history.
Anna Aya is a 19-year-old Japanese-Armenian fluent in three languages — Japanese, Armenian, and English. She embarked on her modeling career at a young age, appearing in print campaigns and commercials, for household name brands like American Girl Doll, AT&T, Children’s Place, Ford, Samsung, Target, and others. Balancing her time between Japan and Los Angeles, Anna has appeared in top-tier Japanese magazines for influential fashion houses in the world including Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Valentino, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton.
Looking at her music career, she started as a dancer studying jazz, hip-hop, and ballet. That passion for music led to vocal lessons while listening to her favorite artists including Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Madison Beer, and many more.
Michael Africk, CEO of Handcraft Entertainment, discovered Anna through international connections in 2022 and invited her to collaborate in her studio which eventually led to signing her to his company.
