South Korean K-Pop group ENHYPEN is back for an encore with a fiery music video for their second promotional single “Brought The Heat Back” from their recent studio album ROMANCE : UNTOLD.  Released on August 1, the quirky visuals for the funk and dance-pop track showcase the members Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki repeatedly being caught in a game of cat and mouse. This time around, the seven vampires are battling each other for the possession of a cat hidden in a coffin-shaped box. The song's lyrics share the sentiments of the members grappling with feelings of jealousy as they encounter a stranger trying to charm their significant other. The latter, in this video, is symbolized by the cat that they are all at war with each other for. “Who was that person you greeted earlier? // Why were you smiling like that? // Never felt this kind of feeling, my head is spinning,” sang NI-KI, Sunghoon, and Heeseung in the second verse.

With bewildering yet captivating scenarios paired with comedic timing, such as Jungwon attacking Jay with a flying fish while NI-KI attempts to escape the coffin he is locked in, the music video brings out the fun side of the members that the fans love and adore. The cat, in the meantime, is a significant motif that can be seen throughout the video, including Sunoo's hoodie with the iconic slogan “My cat is a rockstar, and I'm a manager,” and Sunghoon's car that reads “Real men love cats.'’

Towards the second half of the video, the viewers are introduced to what seems to be a graveyard, the hand of a zombie, and a cat reminiscing about a werewolf that they encounter on their trek, which are all references that might remind you of Michael Jackson's iconic “Thriller” music video.

As they conclude promotions for ROMANCE : UNTOLD, ENHYPEN are set to perform “Brought The Heat Back” on SBS’ The Show on August 6, airing from 6 pm (KST) onwards.
