Continue the Adventure with Zior Park to Find Sasquatch in His Latest EP Release, ‘WHERE DOES SASQUATCH LIVE? Pt.2’

On November 2, K-Hip-Hop and R&B artist Zior Park invited listeners back into his whimsical world of adventure with his latest EP, WHERE DOES SASQUATCH LIVE? Pt.2. A direct sequel to his February release, WHERE DOES SASQUATCH LIVE? Pt.1, WHERE DOES SASQUATCH LIVE? Pt.2 continues Park’s fairy-tale-like story of a man on a quest to find the mythical being Sasquatch through eight new songs — “DON’T MAKE HIM A VILLAIN!,” “QUEEN,” “BYE BYE BYE,” “HERO IN THE MIRROR,” “BULLET,” “SPACE Z,” “WALKING THROUGH THE DARKNESS,” and “THE END,” — all written, composed, and arranged by Park. “BYE BYE BYE, featuring South Korean-German rapper and singer Sion, serves as the EP’s title track.

Park describes WHERE DOES SASQUATCH LIVE? Pt.2 as being “more pop-orientated with a ‘children’s musical’ concept. Like a diary that contains stories from [his] childhood.” These eight songs on the EP dive into themes of purity, childlike wonder, and dreams and will each be accompanied by music videos that “offer a glimpse into the various inspirations and influences” that Park has received throughout his life.

At this current moment, Park has released the music videos for “QUEEN,” “BYE BYE BYE,” “BULLET,” and “HERO IN THE MIRROR,” with these music videos all taking place in a location resembling a set for children’s TV show. The music videos for “QUEEN” and “BYE BYE BYE” are bright, colorful, and innocent, even involving a cast of children in the video, with the fun visuals contrasting the serious tone expressed through Park’s lyrics.

“BULLET,” on the other hand, moves away from the bright, child-like theme, darkening the video concept with its set now gloomy, containing graveyard headstones and Park and his companions portrayed as zombified adults. More recently, his latest music video, released on November 8, for “HERO IN THE MIRROR,” touches on themes of adulthood with Park now accompanied by much older adults and even appearing to be old himself in one scene, as if the videos are showing the different stages of Park’s life from childhood to adulthood.
