BXB Talks About Their New Comeback & New Year Plans

BXB is a rookie K-Pop group that just debuted in 2023. Now, the group has begun the new year with new music for their fans. Their story started with the releases of Intro: Flight and a new beginning, followed by Chapter 1. Our Youth. The quartet is now back with Chapter 2. Wings, a comeback EP which consists of three tracks, namely “Black Cat Nero,” “Airplane,” and “Found You.”
“Black Cat Nero” was released on January 4, 2024 as a pre-release single. The song is BXB’s spin on the classic Italian children’s song “Volevo un gatto nero.”
The song “Airplane” shows the boys in a high school, aspiring for a new start and to fly away like an airplane. Lastly, “Found You” is a hopeful track featuring energetic beats filling the listener with a zesty energy. The EP, aptly titled “Wings” showcases the group’s flight towards a bright future.
Chapter 2. Wings was released on January 11, 2024, across major music streaming platforms. To celebrate the new release, BXB also held a press conference. The boys gave an enthusiastic greeting, “Boy By Brush. Hello, we are BXB!,” signaling the start of a wonderful interaction discussing their new music, their journey so far, and their new year goals.
The year has just begun and you are making a comeback. Congratulations! How are you guys feeling about it?
Hyunwoo: Hello! This is Hyunwoo. First of all, thank you so much for your congratulations. And regarding the comeback, I think it is a great start for BXB as we face a new beginning in 2024, so I am having fun while always looking forward to making memories with BXB members and fans.
Besides the fact that the comeback features three tracks with different vibes each, what else can you tell us about your EP? What makes this album special?
Jihun: I guess the theme has always been youth. I think this album is special because it includes remake songs with a slightly different style from the youth theme. I think it's a little more unique because other remake songs with youth themes have been added so far.
