ZEROBASEONE Performs Debut Hit “In Bloom” Live at the Grammy Museum

On July 25, the nine-member South Korean boy group ZEROBASEONE was invited into the prestigious Grammy Museum to be a part of their Global Spin Live series. The series, usually held online, is meant to highlight and hold conversations with global artists, allowing them to have a deep conversation about their careers, inspirations, and more.

ZEROBASEONE is a fanmade group, formed through the popular Mnet survival show BOYS PLANET. Consisting of members Sung Han-Bin, Kim Ji-Woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-Vin, Park Gun-Wook, and Han Yu-Jin, the group debuted in July 2023 with their first EP titled Youth in The Shade. As they were formed through a survival style program, they are set to remain active for two and a half years with a possibility for an extension in the future as the likes of their counterpart girl group, KEP1ER

The group’s Grammy Museum performance was held in a more personal and intimate environment, assured to give fans that were in attendance a once in a lifetime experience with ZEROBASEONE. The group delivered an impeccable performance of their debut title “In Bloom.” Their vocals remained so crisp and clear even while doing the intricate choreography on a smaller stage than usual as well. This gained the group’s performance a lot of online praise, especially in platforms such as X and TikTok, where everyone was reposting the performance to talk about the exceptional vocals of ZEROBASEONE.

Even a year after its release, with more than 56M streams on Spotify, “In Bloom” remains one of the group’s best tracks and an overall iconic debut for the beginning of what seems to be the 5th generation of K-Pop. So far, the group has garnered over 1.7M monthly listeners, and their recent comeback, “GOOD SO BAD” on their 4th Mini EP titled CINEMA PARADISE, has already passed 42M views on YouTube. Furthermore, on September 19, the group kicked off their first-ever world tour, TIMELESS WORLD in Seoul, so it seems like ZEROBASEONE is on an amazing path and we can’t wait to see what they do next!
