VeeAlwaysHere Journeys Ahead With ‘broken: playlist II’
A sequel of anything — a book, a movie, a drama, or even an album is simply amazing! It means more content to indulge in and more artistry to get acquainted with. This week, we bring to you VeeAlwaysHere — a self-taught Korean-American musician born and raised in Siberia, Russia.
Last year, VeeAlwaysHere released his album ego: playlist I. In this album, he traces the journey of a protagonist who goes through the motions of love and heartbreak. He collaborated with jujuland, Kimono Pat, and ian360 for "right now,” “we are,” and “ego,” respectively. The album also features a music video for the track “joker.”
VeeAlwaysHere recently dropped the second installment of his ‘playlist’ series titled broken: playlist II on August 4. In this album, he continues the protagonist's search for love while embarking on a poignant journey of healing and self-discovery. He collaborates with Maria Ellis for “pink roses” and Ted Park for “I don’t dance.”
Despite English not being his first language, the self-taught musician croons to perfect English words that he wrote for the songs — which he composed by himself. The influence of American pop music is reflected vividly in each song. Catering to the fans of R&B, indie, and alternative music — VeeAlwaysHere presents a vulnerable side to all things about love and human emotions.
If the concluding track is anything to go by, there could be a third playlist in the works! Make sure to listen to broken: playlist II. below.
