Since making his debut in March 2018, with his EP album Luv-fi, singer-songwriter oceanfromtheblue has become a staple name within the K-R&B music scene. From starting out as an independent artist, sharing music on SoundCloud, to now being part of the Warner Music Korea family (signed to their subsidiary label Nostalgia Music), oceanfromtheblue has seen his musical craft go from strength to strength, with strong poetic lyricism and harmonious vocals making him one of the most diverse acts of Korean R&B.
