Korean Canadian singer-songwriter JUNNY returned to Los Angeles on his dopamine tour, marking a special homecoming. In 2022, he first performed in the city on his blanc tour at 1720, before returning for K-PLAY! FEST, and a show at Catch One Matches by Bloom, with Koven Wei and Ethan Low. On Sunday, November 10, JUNNY took the stage once again at 1720, where fans packed the venue, filling it all the way to the back doors.

Tokyo-based J-Pop group Travis Japan had a line of Traja-tan (fandom name) from the El Rey Theatre wrapped around the block down the side of the Korean Cultural Center. No wonder – the group sold out their October 14 stop of the Travis Japan World Tour 2024: Road to A in Los Angeles along with the other stops of their first-ever world tour. The group is made up of seven members including Chaka, Shime, Genta, Noel, Machu, Shizu, and Umi who lit up the stage in the familiar city.

At 7 PM, the neon lights of Los Angeles’ Ghengis Cohen sign illuminated, signaling a night full of music was about to begin. As you walk into the bustling Chinese restaurant, warm-toned orange lighting and lanterns dangle above the dimly lit tables. Just before that at the bar, artists and music lovers waited in anticipation for the show. To the right, a door led into a dark, intimate space where only the stage glowed in pink lights.
