Rolling Stone ‘Future of Music’ 4-Night Austin Showcase Line-Up
Clear up your calendars for Rolling Stone’s second-annual four-night concert, Future of Music Showcase, taking place at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Presented by StockX and recognized as a marquee showcase of the South by Southwest® (SXSW®), this concert series will feature performances by Peso Pluma, Teezo Touchdown, Young Miko, Flo Milli, Uncle Waffles, and Faye Webster on March 12-15, 2024.
“We’re thrilled to return to SXSW with this incredible line-up”, said Gus Wenner, CEO of Rolling Stone. “The Future of Music showcase brings our pages to life and honors the artists shaping the music of tomorrow — in all genres, all over the world.”
This concert series aligns with Rolling Stone’s Special Report: Future of Music 2023, set to hit newsstands in April as a print issue. The showcase will feature talent from the second annual Future 25 list, introducing Music’s Future 25.
Rolling Stone and Hi How Are You will showcase a range of merchandise along with an iconic mural painted by Daniel Johnston, demonstrating their commitment to promoting mental health initiatives within the music industry. BACARDI will also be on-site serving specialty cocktails.

Lola Brooke
Lola Brooke is a rapper from Brooklyn, New York known for her singles such as “Options" and “Back to Business.”
Chase Shakur
Chase Shakur is a 22-year-old alternative R&B music artist from Atlanta, Georgia who started his career as a rapper in 2016, but began showcasing his singing abilities in 2018.
Wednesday, March 13
Peso Pluma
Peso Pluma is a songwriter and artist from Guadalajara, Mexico who is recognized as a highly influential and respected artist in the regional Mexican genre.
Young Miko
Young Miko is a Puerto Rican rapper with a versatile approach to her multi-genre music. She is known for her songs “Un Poquito” and “Vendetta.”
Kevin Kaarl
Kevin Kaarl is a folk singer-songwriter, and musician from Chihuahua, Mexico. He debuted in 2019 with his album Hasta el Fin Del Mundo featuring two singles, “Si Supieras” and “Vámonos a Marte.”
J Noa
J Noa is a 17-year-old rapper from the Dominican Republic. Her songs are about her own life experiences and the reality of growing up in the hood.
Pink Pablo
Pink Pablo is self-taught singer-songwriter and producer from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was born into a musical household as he grew up playing the guitar and piano at family gatherings and his nearby church.
Flo Milli
Flo Milli is a rapper and singer from Mobile, Alabama. Her song “Never Lose Me” trended on Tiktok and became famous amongst many young people.
Uncle Waffles
Uncle Waffles is a standout DJ from South Africa, celebrated for her incredible mixing and dancing skills. Her fame skyrocketed when Drake declared her as his favorite DJ from Mzansi.
Black Sherif
Black Sherif is a Ghanaian hip-hop and trap musician from Konongo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. His music career began in 2019 with his first single “Money” which had over 2 million streams on Boomplay.
Flyana Boss
Flyana Boss is a hip-hop duo from Los California consisting of rappers Bobbi LaNea Taylor and Folayan Omi Kunerede. “You Wish” is their well-known song that gained popularity in 2023.

Faye Webster
Faye Webster is a folk singer from Atlanta, Georgia. Her songs “Cheers,”“Kingston,” “In a Good Way,” and “Hurts Me Too” are loved by many.
Red Clay Strays
Red Clay Strays is a goth-country band from Mobile, Alabama. The band consists of Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Zach Rishel, Andrew Bishop, and John Hall.

Jackie Venson
Jackie Venson is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Austin, Texas. She expresses her love for the blues with thoughtful lyrics, electrifying guitar solos, and a memorable voice.
