Icons SEVENTEEN Set to Feature in Pharrell Williams’ New Single “BAD INFLUENCE”
Grammy-award winning producer and artist Pharrell Williams has revealed a groundbreaking collaboration with SEVENTEEN members S.COUPS, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON, and DINO. The track made its global debut at the Fall/Winter 2025 Paris Fashion week as part of the soundtrack for Louis Vuitton’s runway show. The unexpected reveal of this collaboration not only captivated the attendees but also continued to set the tone for an unforgettable evening and showcase of the latest designs of the brand.
The track was carefully produced and arranged by Pharrell Williams’ himself—it was created specifically for the Louis Vuitton show. Tasked as the current Men’s Creative Director for the brand, Pharrell ensured to not only put on an amazing and innovative show leaving audiences with an unforgettable runway experience but he also made sure he had the soundtrack to match the show’s visual concept. Upon its first release into the world, the track titled “Bad Influence” garnered a lot of attention not only within the fashion world at the show but also within the millions of people online who were shocked at the surprise release. This release only solidified the ability that Pharrell possesses to continue to merge music and fashion into one unforgettable moment. Choosing an artist such as SEVENTEEN to showcase this is an amazing display of those two exact things.
When talking about this collaboration, the members shared, "We are happy and honored to collaborate with Pharrell Williams, whom we have deeply admired for a long time,." This has become another amazing opportunity and milestone for SEVENTEEN. They have just had one of their best years in 2024 following successful releases of tracks such as “MAESTRO” and “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)” and also the kick off of their Right Here World Tour in which they have spanned across North America meeting CARATS from all over the country.
Following the release of “CBZ (Prime Time)” by the group’s subunit BSS (consisting of members HOSHI, DINO and SEUNGKWAN), this collaboration kicks off an amazing 2025 for the group, they continue to build momentum and cement their status as icons within the music industry—and now, even solidifying a status further into the fashion world. Their involvement in fashion has always been prevalent with members such as MINGYU becoming the brand ambassador for Dior back in August of 2024. SEVENTEEN’s ability to merge their love for music, performance, fashion and style continues to demonstrate the versatility and influence they have within the industry. We hope this collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton is the first of many for SEVENTEEN, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2025 awaits for them.
