HALSUG is looking forward to seeing GEMINI bring his artistry on the road. We are also excited to hear some of his new tracks from Still Blue live for the first time. Until then, have you ever thought about the different traits Geminis are said to have? Well, we listened to the EP (Repeatedly. It’s incredible!) and discovered some similarities throughout the entire body of work. Check out what we came up with! *Disclaimer: This is for fun and should not be taken as fact.*

Still Blue captures several stages one goes through after a breakup. From the memory of the ex still lingering in the air expressed in tracks like “Love is Bannedand “a place we used to goto the “I’m over this” energy coming from “More & More,” “Do Me Right,” and “Hola. Each track carefully attacks the emotions that come with heartbreak and the need to forget and move on. Geminis have been known to be romantic and loyal in their relationships. Despite the grief displayed in the EP, it is apparent that GEMINI still shows love and affection.

Some might also say that Geminis tend to be inconsistent. Constantly changing their minds, going back and forth until they find a sense of belonging and comfort. This trait reflects “Rollercoaster perfectly. The commanding bass of this track catches your attention throughout, while the lyrics display a sense of dizziness and sadness. Channeling the inconsistencies of our lives, GEMINI uses lyrics like “I can’t be myself when I’m alone,” which shows that despite being in the comfort of ourselves, we still have a hard time simply existing―a concept we are sure fans and new listeners can relate to.

What we can also see is how GEMINI is outspoken. He put his heart on the line, acknowledging the love he gave and opening up about what he was not receiving. That is a trait that Geminis tend to have. Unafraid to be direct with their feelings and go the extra mile to be heard. “Hola” captures the final straw for him. After countless attempts to grow and do better, GEMINI is aware that the relationship has lost steam, failing to bloom yet again. “Even though we’ve gone through many seasons, at least we could say we fuckin’ tried.” How does that saying go? “Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?” Some might find it hard to finally admit when things aren’t meant to be. GEMINI (and Geminis) quickly come to terms with reality and can acknowledge those things, regardless if it will hurt.

Not to mention, Geminis are creative. Some of the greatest artists and musicians of all time are Geminis. GEMINI’s creative palette helps paint a beautiful story for this EP. You are going through every emotion with him and can feel the sadness and frustration. As each track bleeds into the next, you can’t help but sit and reflect. As GEMINI continues to find his footing in the industry, current fans and new listeners should look forward to the incredible force that is GEMINI.
