On July 23, KAVE held a debut showcase at Musinsa Garage in Mapo-gu, Seoul. At the event, lead vocalist Gaho shared the band's origins, explaining how he and his friends from school and college first came together to produce music. Their shared passion for music evolved into a desire to play instruments, which eventually led to the formation of KAVE.

The members have previously collaborated as producers on Gaho’s solo projects and many viral covers, including BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls,” “How You Like That,” and ROSE’s “On The Ground.” They also have experience as producers and session musicians for tracks like SHINee’s “I Say,” THE BOYZ’s “White,” and Lee Jong Suk’s “Come To Me.” This diverse background has given them a unique perspective on creating and sharing music that aligns with their artistic vision.

Gaho, well-known for his voice behind the most-streamed drama OSTs like “시작(Start Over)” from Itaewon Class, “Running” from START-UP, and "Yellow Light" from King the Land, emphasized at the showcase that he wishes fans to view his solo work and his work with KAVE as distinct ventures. He aims to explore various music genres through his work with the band.

EP Flight of Ideas features seven self-composed and arranged tracks: “Venom,” “Legend,” “Hurricane,” “Dangerous,” “Avant,” “Crazy Crazy,” and “Die for U.” Each track showcases the band’s versatility and depth, bringing a fresh sound to the Korean rock scene.

"Venom" delves into the anguish and emotional devastation of a toxic relationship, likening the pain to being poisoned. The phrase “I’m feeling like a venom” underscores the relentless, consuming nature of this torment. The teaser for "Venom" was produced by Team Us, known for their choreography work with artists like BoA, NCT, and THE BOYZ.

The title track “Legend is a hybrid electronic rock song with an intense and addictive hook. It explores themes of self-discovery and transformation, highlighting the struggle with inner conflict and the evolution of one’s identity.

The song "Hurricane" explores breaking free from oppressive thoughts and constraints to find liberation from past fears and pain.

"Avant" portrays the irresistible allure and overwhelming impact of captivating love, comparing it to a downpour that leaves the members drenched and longing for more. The lyrics reflect a deep, uncontrollable infatuation that feels almost like an addiction.

The track "Crazy Crazy" describes an intense and controlling relationship where the singer demands that a partner act happy and perform, likening them to a puppet under hypnosis or intoxication.

Conveying a sense of imminent threat and betrayal, while recognizing the danger and feeling of suffocation, "Dangerous” expresses a need to escape and distance oneself from a harmful situation.

Centering on a desire for deep, authentic connection and openness, "Die For U" expresses a longing to understand and cross boundaries with a partner, seeking honesty and intimacy without fear.
