Born as Woo Hyun Kim and known as Harrison Kim, GK was born in Los Angeles in 2000. He has worked on albums with JYP in high school and recently on both PSY’s PSY 9th album and Jessis single “ZOOM,” as Director of A&R at P Nation. GK often shuttled between South Korea and the United States to learn more about the global music industry, even establishing JJ Music Group and serving as director for the non-profit organization Lindenbaum.

GK's expertise spans beyond rap, vocals, and production, as he specialized in Music Business at NYU Tisch. While typically gravitating towards mainstream music, his latest album embraces a daring hip-hop concept. Engaging deeply in the album's creation, GK assumed roles in production and A&R across all tracks, with collaborator SINGKI contributing to every song except “DONE.” The album sonically features a diverse roster of seasoned and emerging rappers like NSW Yoon, Cho Seo Jun, lobonabeat!, viceversa, Daniel Jikal, D.Ark, KIDO, EK, Dbo, and San E

G.Round: Pre-Debut EP Album is comprised of two title tracks and four additional songs. For the lead track, “Kill the System,” GK partnered with T&K Entertainment for production, while the music video enlisted the expertise of Visual Track’s director, Sunny Inspire. Sunny Inspire is known for crafting visuals for esteemed K-Pop icons like BTS, NewJeans, and SEVENTEEN. This collaboration signifies the genesis of potential future creative alliances for GK.

The song “Fun Fact” is a harmonious blend of orchestra and hip-hop, expressing pent-up emotions and GK's determination in the music industry.

Lead title track “Kill the System” consists of intense drill rhythms layered over a disheveled classical piano loop, reflecting GK's frustrations and reflections on the music industry.

OMZ Freestyle (feat. NSW Yoon)” is a retro-futuristic sound with cyber percussion, Dragon Ball references, and an engaging rap featuring rising hip-hop artist NSW Yoon. “DONE (feat. Chu Seo Jun)” is a modern rock vibe song mixed with powerful drill beats, showcasing GK's vocal prowess and lyrical depth, alongside Chu Seo Jun's husky appeal. “DONE” has garnered one million views on YouTube since its release.

The track “Crime Scene (feat. lobonabeat!)” consists of engaging lead sound, 808 trap beats, and a catchy hook by GK and Korean trap artist lobonabeat!, likened to the irresistible delight of instant black bean noodles.

Finally, the song “IRTT Cypher (feat. viceversa, Daniel Jikal, D.Ark, KIDO, EK, Dbo, San E)” with funky brass stabs, rhythmic bassline, and diverse rap styles from veteran rappers, ensures an enjoyable listening experience without a dull moment.

This pre-debut album ignites the anticipation for GK’s forthcoming debut album and the promising future prospects set to unfold under the banner of JJ Music Group.
