On April 27, Palestinian songstress Elyanna graced The Wiltern in Los Angeles for her much-anticipated solo concert. Having made history as the first Arabic-speaking artist to perform at Coachella last year, she has become one of the most celebrated Arabic singers, bringing the beauty of Arabic music to global audiences.

From the moment the doors opened, fans adorned in beautiful headscarves eagerly queued up, chatting excitedly in Arabic as if they had been anticipating Elyanna's performance for ages. As they entered the venue, they were greeted by posters of Elyanna, sparking a frenzy of photo-taking that momentarily congested the venue. However, the enthusiastic crowd's energy soared above all else, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

As the concert kicked off, Elyanna's dancers, dressed in flowing white dresses and wielding traditional hand drums reminiscent of the bendir, took to the stage. Accompanied by a mysterious and rhythmic drumbeat, the audience glimpsed Elyanna's silhouette behind a sheer veil at the center of the stage. The stage design, characterized by an aura of mystique and folklore, hinted at the enchanting spectacle that was about to unfold. With the fading of the drumbeats, the veil was drawn aside, revealing Elyanna as she stepped forward to perform her debut single, "Ta Ta," released in 2019. The pulsating rhythm of the pop song, accompanied by dynamic and intense choreography, elicited screams of delight from the audience with every step Elyanna and her dancers took.

The second song in her lineup was her poignant ballad "Ahwak," the lyrics of which express deep longing and love. Clad in a flowing white gown, Elyanna stood in the center of the circular stage, delivering a soul-stirring rendition of the emotional piece, her ethereal voice captivating the entire venue in a moment of silence.

Transitioning from the slow pace of a ballad to the upbeat tempo of pop, Elyanna performed "Ya Waylak," a track from her 2020 EP Elyanna, igniting the crowd with its infectious energy and sensual choreography.

However, what truly set this concert apart was Elyanna's genuine dedication to her craft and her unmistakable love for her fans. Throughout the evening, she surprised the audience by bringing out two special guest artists. First, she collaborated with Saint Levant on the song "Deira," sending the adoring crowd into a frenzy of cheers. Later, to the fans' disbelief and delight, she welcomed singer Massari to the stage for a performance of their collaborative track "Ana Lahale,'' leaving the audience awestruck by the unexpected treat.

From the opening act to the final bow, the fervor of the fans endured for nearly three hours, culminating in impromptu photo sessions outside the venue as they were reluctant to bid farewell to an unforgettable evening. Elyanna's concert at The Wiltern was undoubtedly a resounding success, a testament to her talent and the unwavering support of her dedicated fanbase.
