East Of Eden Has Spread Their Wings Around the World From Japan

East Of Eden is the five-member Japanese rock band formed by the violinist Ayasa. She gathered four other female artists who she was eager to perform with and released the first single “EVOLVE” on August 8, 2023. The band is currently composed of Ayasa (Violin/Producer/Leader), Akane Minato (Vocal), Yuki (Guitar), MINA (Bass), and MIZUKI (Drums).

Each member brings a distinctive musical background, creating a rich tapestry of talent within the band. Ayasa has her own original releases, runs her YouTube Channel Ayasa Channel with violin cover songs, and lent her skills as the voice of a violinist character in Morfonica, a band featured in the anime BanG Dream!. Akane was the main vocalist in the idol group predia. Yuki plays guitar as a member of the instrumental hardrock band D_Drive. The drummer MIZUKI belongs to a J-Rock band Shinkuhorou and Lonesome_Blue. The new bassist, MINA, was the member of the J-Rock band GIRLFRIEND

The band’s previous bassist departed, and MINA joined East of Eden in December, bringing fresh energy and talent to the group. As the youngest member, she represents the digital-native generation, skillfully leveraging platforms like TikTok and YouTube to showcase her artistry and connect with fans. She already gained significant attention last year after participating in Already Over Session: Episode 5 [Tokyo]. Additionally, her exceptional bass skills caught the eye of renowned Italian bassist and influencer Davie504, who featured her on his YouTube channel as a remarkable talent. With her dynamic online presence and distinctive abilities, MINA brings a unique edge to East of Eden.

East of Eden marked an exciting new chapter in early 2025 by joining Warner Music Japan, signaling a fresh start with incredible potential for growth. This month, they released their first single “Shooting Star” under Warner Music Japan and announced their debut full-length album, The First Eden - Seeds of Hope. It is set to release on March 12, 2025 and will feature “Shooting Star alongside an entirely new collection of tracks, showcasing the band’s evolving sound and artistry. The band also announced a concert tour that will include performances in Japan and Shanghai, China. As the leader, Ayasa has built a fanbase in Asia through her violin releases in China and has expanded her presence internationally by performing at music festivals in the United States and other countries, though her primary focus remains on the Japanese market. While the band’s international experience suggests potential for greater global popularity, Ayasa believes success stems from many factors and is determined for the band to be recognized worldwide for their genuine musical talent. To achieve this, she brought together a group of exceptional musicians who share her vision. Together, they aim to create something extraordinary, spreading their music from the East to audiences around the globe.
