BLACKSWAN, the first non-Korean K-Pop group under D.R Music, is currently made up of four members: Fatou (Senegal/Belgium), NVee (United States), Gabi (Brazil), and Sriya (India). And with ecstatic energy, they kicked off their US Debut Performance/Fan Meeting Tour in Los Angeles at The Source OC. The night was filled with excitement as LUMINA, their fans, eagerly waited up to 1.5 hours before the concert to meet their favorite K-Pop group in person.

Prepared to give an amazing show, the girls started the performance/fan meeting with a brand new rendition of their song, ”Tonight,” exciting fans as they were able to see a new version of the song with these four members. The girls’ enthusiastic energy on the international stage was reciprocated, as the crowd radiated with synergy, with everyone smiling ear to ear.

BLACKSWAN performed their most recent title track, ”Karma,” and their popular B-side track “Cat and Mouse,” which had everyone dancing and singing along on all three floors of The Source. The members were also engaging with the audience, creating memorable moments that are sure to last forever.

One of the biggest highlights of the night were the solo stages for members Fatou and Nvee. Fatou, leader of the group, was able to perform a song off her digital mixtape “Gucci.” Fans cheered as they were able to be one of the first people to hear this song live, and Fatou fed off this energy as she jumped off the stage to interact with the crowd. Nvee followed suit with her solo stage of “One More Time,” an OST she sang for the popular Korean show Love After Divorce (돌싱글즈).

As their night came to a close, both fans and artists were upset to go, however, a chant rang through the crowd, “ENCORE! ENCORE!” Shocked by the reaction, BLACKSWAN encouraged more cheering to help convince staff to perform one more song since the night, as one of the members put it, would feel unfinished. At the eager request, staff were able to prepare, and the group performed one last song, “Over & Over,” for fans to enjoy.

Soon enough, a night that was filled with excitement and cheer ended in applause for the group, as they finished their first-ever US performance. While the group continues to make waves in both K-Pop and global music scenes, we are excited to see what is next for Fatou, Nvee, Gabi, and Sriya!
