BANG YONGGUK Brought The Heat to Arizona
Embarking on his second US tour BANG YONGGUK ‘III’ THE US TOUR 2024, K-Pop soloist BANG YONGGUK enters the stage on his fifth stop in Phoenix, AZ, halfway through the 11-city tour. With his first stop in Brooklyn, NY and his last in Los Angeles, CA, the former leader of the K-Pop boy group B.A.P is determined to leave a memorable impression on each of the cities.
Many fans began lining up in the Phoenix heat before doors were set to open, adorning all-black outfits and holding green-colored glow sticks and B.A.P official lightsticks. In due time, the moment everyone eagerly waited for had finally arrived as Yongguk entered the stage and started his set by performing “OFF” from his 2022 EP 2, immersing the crowd.

After Yongguk performed a few more songs like “Xie Xie,” “IXLU,” and “Ride or Die,” he greeted fans and delivered his introduction. Yongguk would go on to express his gratitude for his fans which the fans echoed back, louder each time.
Throughout his set, Yongguk brought the heat with various hip-hop moves and some curse words that made the crowd swoon; he’d then go on to increase the concert’s momentum by declaring, “It must be hot outside right? But let’s make it hotter in here!” The crowd erupted in screams that echoed off the venue's walls, prompting one particular fan to scream out, “Let me sign your NDA!,” causing Yongguk to laugh.
As Yongguk left the stage, fans cheered and chanted for one last glimpse of the artist just to be surprised once again with his presence. The last two songs for the night were “NUMB” and “BUSS IT DOWN,” both of which were songs from his new EP 3. The performance ended the evening in a club-like scene as Yongguk walked from both directions of the stage to the crowd, and left an everlasting impression of his genuine appreciation and love for his fans.
The ‘III’ US TOUR 2024 was an exhilarating blend of genuine artist-to-fan connection, hard-hitting musical beats, and an insane amount of fun. But the fun doesn’t stop here as Yongguk promised to return to Arizona in the near future on another tour.
